Here's a probable plan for the garden railroad. Nothing too complicated to begin with. The oval is in a 16' x 12' area and the terminal station is on a 10' x 4' extension. Trains would be able to be made up in the yard at the station and despatched to run around the oval as many times as I see fit before being turned on the reversing loop to head back home. Scenic development is still up in the air. As just last night the wife saw some G scale model lighthouses and thought that would be a great idea...
